AstraZeneca is a global pharmaceutical company with active programmes in Psychiatry areas relevant to this project. AstraZeneca personnel have expertise in a number of areas that will support NEWMEDS:
• Expertise in preclinical EEG models and testing
• Expertise in statistical and study design expertise in support of image PET imaging
• Expertise in pharmacogenomics approaches, including genetic, SNP, and CNV analysis
• Expertise in CIAS study design and conduct
In addition, AstraZeneca has substantial experience in the imaging modalities planned for this project. AstraZeneca also has an active clinical sample repository with samples available for use by NEWMEDS.
